![]() How are you supposed to beat him on Bloodjaw? Destabilizing Feint? Munkey though was immune to that trick, along with everything else I had at the time. Having just completed the Row, (that last fight was tedious as hell), I've only ever hit one seemingly impossible challenge: The Black Hand.įox was the first tough nut- after about 10 tries I beat her by sitting in defensive & strictly counter-attacking, only fast-attacking when she retreated to throw daggers. ![]() Heh, I'm playing on Bloodjaw too, but I'm also a (responsible) cheating bastard- prefer to play vanilla when I can. So if there were any points tucked behind one of Arkail's "LESS TALKING, MORE RAIDING!" lines, I could be in trouble. I'm just concerned that they might reward the -canonical- choices, you know, good sync with the characters. Picking your advanced specialization (you'll be given choices for how to complete certain scenes later on) gives you +2 to different stats based on your choice, but the skills you get from the advanced spec matter way more. If I remember right the magic damage ignores armor, plus I just like the blue-side character developments better.īut yeah back on the original topic, OP there aren't many of those and they're not so super important you need to stress about them. I tend to go with both defensive trees for Arkail since I don't like gambling on berserk, and melee Styx (with the ranged stun bomb upgraded) + shadowgoblin advanced tree. The only time melee Styx is a bad idea IMO is if you're actually letting Arkail berserk regularly, in which case Styx should be out of arm's reach. He does need good Mind no matter what you do, though. ) Personally I tend to put him around 250-300 hp.
